ReelStudio

Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 7, 2026 · App: ReelStudio ("we", "us") · Contact: evcants@gmail.com · Operator: Evan McCants, United States

ReelStudio helps you plan, make and publish Instagram content. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and your choices.

What we collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, browsing history or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. Dictation is turned into text by Apple on your device when supported (otherwise by Apple's speech service); we receive only the text.

How we use it

To provide the app: store your plans, analyze your clips (duration, best frames, descriptions and tags), render reels, generate ideas, captions and cards with AI, sync and show your Instagram grid, detect which planned posts went up, publish posts you ask us to publish, send reminders and notifications, enforce free usage limits, and keep the service secure. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

Sharing

Only with the processors above, to run the app, or if required by law. Your clips and plans are private to your account; other users can't see them.

Retention and deletion

Security

Encryption in transit (HTTPS); Instagram tokens encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM); per-user access rules on every database table; AI and Instagram calls only from our servers.

Children

ReelStudio is not directed to children under 13, and Instagram requires users to be 13+.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to processing. Contact evcants@gmail.com. You can delete everything yourself in the app.

Changes

We'll post changes here and update the effective date. Material changes will be shown in the app.
